Leaving North Hollywood for North Carolina.

Coty Inc. will move OPI’s nail polish manufacturing production from North Hollywood, CA to Sanford, NC, where the firm already manufactures a number of products, including nail polishes. According to reports, OPI’s marketing and sales will remain in North Hollywood. Coty acquired OPI in 2010 in a blockbuster deal that was estimated to be near $1 billion. That same year, the company invested $12 million to add nail lacquer production capabilities in Sanford.
